This week, I created an infographic on crows and posted it on my twitter. In addition, I found 5 other infographics on crows and posted all of those.

Some of these infographics will be used for my Advocacy Project, which will focus on the mistreatment and misunderstanding of crows that leads to unnecessary deaths of them.

Creating an Infographic

I enjoyed creating this infographic and posting it on my twitter. Not only was it enjoyable to mix up visuals and words on one page, but it was a great opportunity to get my ideas out for my Advocacy Project.

The graphic touches on the unessential hatred that crows receive from many people. I used ethos to help the audience understand how much hate and mistreatment this species get, by giving many specific and sad examples. I emphasized the hate that crows get in everything they do, while also providing images to go along with it. I ended the infographic with a sentence in bold that urges the audience to stop the hate and start appreciating crows, in order to convince them to make a change.

I added the links of the sources used at the bottom of the infographic, which all were the three sources I have annotated on my research page, under the Defining the Problem section.

Additional Infographics

It was also enjoyable to research different infographics on crows. It helped me to brainstorm ideas for my own infographic, and doing so also provided lots of important information on crows that could be useful for my own writing.

This infographic that I posted, pictured to the left, was definitely my favorite. It uses humor to help engage the audience, making them read all of the information provided on these intelligent crows. I will be able to use this in the introduction of my Advocacy Project, to help capture the audience and make them drawn into wanting to learn more about this mischievous and scary smart species.
