This week, I continued to follow new accounts and like many posts that I was interested in, especially those about crows. I also created two new posts by using Chat GPT to tell me true stories about crows. And finally, I responded to a classmates well written blog post.
Following New Accounts and Liking Posts
Over these past few weeks, I have found myself enjoying scrolling through my twitter feed and liking posts whenever I have downtime. This has definitely helped me to build a stronger feed that is mostly directed at crows, which also helps me find new accounts. One account that I recently followed was @AlanDaviesbirds. He is a keen birder who posts lots of different species of birds, with information on them as well. I followed him because I thought it would be nice to have other species of birds on my feed along with the many crow accounts I follow.
One enjoyable thing I have also noticed while spending time on twitter, is that the crow community is very small and tight knit on this platform. It has been fun to get involved in it, and see all of these crows accounts interacting with each other. One crow account even reposted one of my posts!
Creating Posts Using Chat GPT

To create my two original tweets this week, I used Chat GPT to tell me true stories about crows. My first tweet was about "crow vending machines". I found this story by typing into Chat GPT "tell me a true story about crows and humans", and it gave me a fun story about crows in Japan who learned to put litter into these vending machines to get food as a reward. I thought that it was such a remarkable story that I had to post about it.

For my second tweet, I actually did not find it directly using Chat GPT, but from the first story that it gave me. While I was looking for an image to use for my first tweet, I came across this image, pictured to the right. I then dove deeper into the image and found that it was from a video showing a crow stealing someone's credit card, and then, what looked like, an attempt to buy a train ticket! Although I did not find this story directly from Chat GPT, I thought that it was so funny that I had to share it.
Reading a Classmates Blog Post
I ended up reading Cailin's post about searching for research articles during week 4. I really enjoyed reading it, because I loved her style of informal writing, and I wanted to try to incorporate some of that style into my own. I made sure to let her know how much I liked the post in her comments!
Your blog (and website) look awesome. It is a very nice page - I love how organized it is and the pictures!
